  • Led two weekly workshops, dedicated office hours, and individual advising for 60+ Data Scholars from historically underrepresented and nontraditional backgrounds in STEM, fostering a supportive community within the 1,200+ DATA C8: Foundations of Data Science course while reinforcing Scholars’ understanding of course concepts
  • Collaborated with the course’s lead instructors and the department’s faculty director of pedagogy to tailor the academic and non-academic program experiences to meet the evolving needs of Scholars, ensuring optimal learning outcomes
  • Mentored four group tutors, offering them guidance on effective teaching techniques aimed at improving the student experience
  • Recognized with UC Berkeley’s Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award for “outstanding work in teaching”
